Responsibilities:

Advanced Practice Provider - Outpatient Neurology

Piedmont is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient neurology clinic in Fayetteville, GA. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with no current call responsibilities.

In this role you will:

Provide Outpatient Neurology medical services to patients within Fayetteville/Fayette County and the surrounding communities. Focus areas of the current physician are movement disorders—especially as it relates to Parkinson’s and migraines. We are recruiting a general neurologist to grow practice volumes and improve patient access. This position will support both physicians.
Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management.
Augment a physician’s ability to provide medical services to patients
Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a neurology setting.

Masters, Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
