Job Description
We are hiring a Sr. Project Coordinator (Event Sales) to join a top entertainment company in Lake Buena Vista, FL. This freelance role will run for 12 months with potential to extend and will be hybrid in office (Monday – Thursday onsite, Friday remote)
Responsibilities:- Sponsorship Sales: Drive sponsorship revenue to meet/exceed targets through prospecting, relationship building, solution selling and contract negotiation
- External Registration Support: Significantly contribute to achieving external registration revenue goal through identification of marketing tactics to meet the registration target
- Lead Sponsors Subcommittee: Under the management of the Program Manager, direct the activities of an 8-person subcommittee to execute sponsor-related initiatives
- Assist Production subcommittee with signage coordination, production scheduling, and partner engagement
- Support program guide development using Adobe InDesign
- Collaborate on venue logistics and attendee experience optimization
- Develop and track metrics to assess goal effectiveness across workstreams
- Manage communications with partners and vendors
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners
- Support overall conference planning, development, and execution
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to enhance project outcomes
Required Qualifications:- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in event sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field
- The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Adobe InDesign ideal
