Job Description

Demi is seeking a professional, hospitality-driven Service Director to lead the front-of-house experience in our intimate, tasting-menu restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the guest experience, ensuring warm, seamless, and memorable service.
  • Lead staff training and ongoing development to uphold service excellence and brand standards.
  • Actively lead service as a core member of the front-of-house team. This is a hands-on, guest-focused role.
  • Build guest rapport, manage guest communication, and respond promptly and thoughtfully to any guest concerns or negative experiences.
  • Create and manage FOH schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and team balance.
  • Cultivate camaraderie, respect, and open communication within a small, tight-knit team.
  • Collaborate closely with Demi's Chef de Cuisine as well as Soigné Hospitality's leadership team to deliver a unified and exceptional dining experience.

The expected work schedule is Wednesday through Sunday.

Demi is a member of Relais & Châteaux, an association of 580 unique hotels and restaurants throughout the world with a dedication to creating joyful guest experiences and offering exceptional levels of service. Demi was the only independent restaurant selected for the association in 2024 and the only member in Minnesota.

Benefits and Compensation:
  • Paid Time Off (PTO), in accordance with Minnesota's Earned Sick and Safe Time law, is accrued at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked and is available for use as soon as it is accrued.
