Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Location: Meadville, PA

Sign-On Bonus: $7,500

Shift Differentials: +$0.60 for evenings/nights; +$0.75 for weekends

Schedule: Rotating shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM);

weekend rotations required

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our Radiology Patient Care Team. This role is essential in delivering safe, accurate, and high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and adherence to radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required diagnostic X-ray procedures and produce quality radiographs.
• Review physician orders and suspected pathology to confirm correct examinations.
• Demonstrate sterile techniques and proper procedure setups.
• Prepare, explain, and correctly position patients for examinations across all age groups (newborn to geriatric).
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety policies, including pregnancy screening for females of child-bearing age.
• Consult with the Radiation Safety Officer on safety issues as needed.
• Maintain current competency on all diagnostic X-ray equipment.
• Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and properly maintained.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of departmental functions and serve as a primary member of the Radiology Patient Care Team.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of Rad Tech experience
• Strong computer skills and EMR proficiency
• Current BLS certification
