Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, has an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager-Business Planning for a global medical device client in El Segundo, CA

Summary: The Project Manager will serve as a member of the Value Delivery Office and is responsible for business case development, project management, and project results for business initiatives. This role requires significant problem solving and strong technology skills with the ability to collaborate closely with key stakeholders to support the development of detailed project proposals and present business cases that demonstrate ROI.

Skills/Experience:

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, define project scope, set objectives, and allocate resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate and facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and leadership, including leading meetings and providing regular project updates.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, delegate tasks, motivate team members, and resolve conflicts to achieve project goals.
• Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to keep projects on track.
• Prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Analyze project challenges, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Monitor project progress using project management tools/software, and report on key milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations through effective quality assurance processes.
• Manage change within projects, adjust plans as needed, and drive continuous improvement based on project outcomes and feedback.
• Must be able to maintain productive working relationships and treat fellow employees with respect.
• Has contact with department team members and project stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Interpersonal and communication skills: Verbal, written, presentation and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience required.
• Minimum BS/BA required.
• Microsoft Office 365 including Teams and Planner
• Communicates effectively and values different perspectives.
• Ensures accountability and honors commitments.
• Learns continuously.

Preferred Skills:

• PMP certification preferred.
• Agile experience and Certified Scrum Master preferred.
• Project Management and related project related work.
• Technical experience and expertise to ensure success of complex software and technology projects.
• Experience with complex software projects is required, ERP (SAP) application, Salesforce, other cloud-based SaaS experience preferred.
• Experience working with project management tools, MS Project or Service Now preferred.
• Business Analyst experience preferred.
• Understanding of process improvement, accounting / finance principles and operations strongly preferred.
• Healthcare, medical device or a related industry experience preferred.
• Prior experience working with global organizations preferred.
