The Role

This is a Payroll & Vendor Specialist role that is responsible for processing broker commission payments on weekly basis, W-2 payroll bi-weekly, managing all payroll data, and resolving payroll-related inquiries. The role also includes responsibility for vendor management and making sure we are set up as vendors with the buildings we partner with on various AP platforms.

Responsibilities :

• Payroll Processing: Accurately and efficiently process payroll for employees and ourbrokers, including calculating commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
• Vendor Management: Help get set-up with our building partners and fill out new vendorforms and agreements
• Data Compliance: Maintain and update payroll data, including new hire setups. Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
• Tax Filings: Assist with payroll tax filings and other payroll-related compliance tasks.
• Inquiry Resolution : Respond to employee and broker inquiries regarding payroll-related matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or experience in Payroll in lieu of that
• Excel experience is highly desirable, and there may be a test of your skill level!
• Experience with Gusto would be a plus, but not required
• Understanding of payroll principles and practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent attention to detail; nothing gets past you

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary - commensurate with experience; $60,000 - $70,000
