Affiliated with  STARR Restaurants ,  Pastis DC   has found its home in Washington, DC's vibrant Union Market District!  With a nod to its New York City roots, this brasserie features a classic curved zinc bar outfitted with signature subway tiles, vintage mirrors with handwritten daily specials, and a mosaic-tiled floor. 
Now seeking dynamic Hosts with a genuine sense of warmth and hospitality to join the team! 

This position offers a comprehensive package including:  

• An hourly rate ranging from $18.50 - $23.00 ~  based on experience

The desired candidate will have:  

• 1+ years of experience as a host in a well-rated restaurant  
• A welcoming personality and a true passion for hosting  
• Integrity and the ability to make decisions on your feet  
• The ability to speak clearly and articulately on the telephone, providing information and answering questions for callers, while focusing on etiquette and conveying a sense of calm  
• Experience with reservation systems such as OpenTable and Resy  
• Professional, polished, and personable demeanor  
• Weekend availability, AM and PM availability
