Job Description

LHH is partnering with one of Chicago's largest utilities companies in search of a Senior Financial Systems Analyst. In this role your time will be spent between financial and technology responsibilities. This is a hybrid role where you will work in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and work from home Mondays and Fridays. It is a direct hire job with a salary paying between $85K - $115K + 15% bonus. Here are more details about this job:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversite of accurate systems reporting for the finance department that produces budgets, closes and financials
• Delivers solutions to systems issues, configuration management, updates and enhancements working closely with IT and Accounting/Finance teams
• Routine testings on new releases, constant learning materials and upgrades and providing solutions to inquiries

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in either Finance or Computer Science required
• 5+ Years of experience in a financial systems like position - strong understanding of multiple systems and agile enough to move upgrade on a self-taught basis
• Must understand GAPP accounting and SOX/internal controls
