Job Description

Build your future with a leader in technical services and telecommunications.
We’re looking for a skilled Field Operations Technician to join a growing team that values innovation, safety, and exceptional customer service. If you have a strong background in telecommunications, a knack for problem-solving, and a passion for helping customers, this opportunity is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform installation, repair, configuration, and testing of moves, additions, changes, and disconnects (MACD) on Nokia, Infinera, and Ciena equipment.

  • Support customer optical, electrical, voice, and data services.

  • Conduct circuit testing using optical time domain reflectometers (OTDR).

  • Install and repair internet, copper and fiber cabling, rack-mounted routers, and demarcation extensions.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues — from cable runs to card swaps and data circuit installations.

  • Ensure compliance with company safety programs and operational standards.

  • Deliver best-in-class customer service, building trust through professionalism, empathy, and integrity.

What You Bring

  • Experience in telecommunications, electronics, cabling, or fiber business installation and service.

  • A technical diploma or degree (preferred but not required).

  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to work independently in dynamic field environments.

  • A positive, customer-first mindset and ability to de-escalate concerns with professionalism.

Work Conditions

  • On-call, evening, and weekend availability required.

  • Physically active role — includes lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights or in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions (when safe).

Why Join Us?

Join a company that values teamwork, growth, and safety as much as technical excellence. You’ll be empowered to take ownership of your work, thrive in a supportive environment, and make a tangible impact every day.
