Director of Data Platforms (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid)

Duration: 1/5/2026 – 6/30/2026 (Contract-to-Hire)

Role Overview

The Director of Data Platforms partners closely with the Chief Data Officer and enterprise leaders to drive the transformation of data ecosystem. This role owns the data platform strategy and execution roadmap , ensuring associates across the enterprise have access to high-quality, usable, and trusted data to support business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic thought leader , aligning data and IT initiatives with enterprise business priorities
• Define and provide technical direction for data architecture , including:
• Data at rest (warehousing/lakehouse)
• Data in motion (integration, streaming)
• Data exposure and consumption (analytics, reporting, APIs)
• Lead and support data modernization initiatives , maximizing value from cloud-based platforms
• Champion agile delivery and change initiatives , fostering transparency, speed, quality, and innovation
• Manage and guide teams of consultants across initiatives of varying scope and complexity
• Facilitate executive-level discussions, workshops, and decision-making sessions

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience implementing and scaling Snowflake as an enterprise data platform
• Deep expertise with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC)
• Strong background leading data-centric modernization programs
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and executive communication skills
• Demonstrated project management , problem-solving, and relationship management capabilities
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and executive stakeholders
• • Implementation of, and maximizing value from Snowflake data platform
• • Expertise with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud
• • Expertise guiding data-centric technology modernization programs
• Directors manage teams of consultants and support a variety of project-related work or varying scope, complexity, and subject matter areas. Specific consulting needs are evaluated on a one-off basis
