About:

Arion Fund, founded in 2015, is a middle-market private credit fund specializing in real-estate secured loans. As a direct bridge lender, we offer real-estate investors quick, short-term bridge financing to fund the acquisition, renovation, rehabilitation and development of residential or commercial properties, including one to four family homes, multifamily properties, condo inventories, mixed-use properties and ground-up construction project

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CRE loan underwriter. The prospective candidate will:

• Identify and mitigate potential credit risks associated with mortgages 
• Be responsible for analyzing financial information pertaining to residential, mixed-use, and multifamily assets 
• Spearhead due diligence and closing processes 

The CRE loan underwriter will work with our credit committee, organization team, sponsors, attorneys, and brokers to facilitate private credit transactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting or related field
• Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail 
• Experience in CRE underwriting and/or financial modeling 
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Advanced excel skills 
• Experience with loans and/or credit 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate lending, underwriting, or acquisitions
