Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager (CM) to oversee telecom site development across the Dallas, Austin, and Houston . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing NSB site builds , including civil, tower, electrical, utility coordination, permitting and integration scopes. A deep understanding of Carrier standards, local permitting processes, and market-specific requirements in Texas is essential.

The Construction Manager will lead all aspects of the construction cycle — from site preparation through closeout — ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with client specifications. This role requires strong leadership, subcontractor management, and client-facing communication skills to drive multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities (Industry Standard + TMO-Specific):

• Oversee all phases of telecom construction projects , including civil, tower, electrical, and integration scopes.
• Manage mods & full builds through on-air completion.
• Act as primary liaison between client, subcontractors, crews, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with Market specifications, drawings, and construction standards .
• Coordinate with permitting authorities, inspectors, utilities, and vendors in San Antonio and Austin.
• Track and coordinate project schedules, budgets, and deliverables; proactively resolve risks and delays.
• Review site construction drawings, redlines, and as-builts for accuracy.
• Assist in material procurement, scoping and bidding
• Manage crews performance including scope alignment, quality checks, and productivity.
• Conduct site walks, audits, and punch list closeouts to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure daily safety practices are followed and that all OSHA and client requirements are met.
• Work with Clsoeout Team to oversee submission of all required documentation: COPs, photos, permits, material receipts, and closeout packages.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to leadership and clients.
• Mentor and develop team members to improve efficiency and strengthen market performance.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of wireless telecom construction FIELD experience .
• Management experience is preferred but not required if computer literacy is competent
• Strong background in carrier full site builds ; familiarity with Texas markets highly preferred.
• Knowledge of civil construction, tower erection, power/conduit, grounding, and integration.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and crews.
• Proficient in MS Office and project tracking systems.
• OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally.
