CNC Machinist (Mastercam)

Looking for CNC Machinist with Mastercam experience to operate and maintain computer-controlled machines to cut, shape, and refine raw materials into precise parts. Experience with interpreting blueprints, set up the machinery, monitor production, perform quality checks, and handle programming and maintenance. This hands-on, technical role requires a combination of mechanical skills, problem-solving, and computer literacy to produce high-quality components for industries like aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Machine operation: Set up, operate, and monitor computer numerical control (CNC) machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Interpreting technical plans: They read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand the specifications for a part.
• Programming: They may convert instructions into computer commands, such as G-code, or work with pre-programmed instructions to guide the machine's movements.
• Material preparation: Prepare and load raw materials (like metal, plastic, or other substances) into the machines.
• Quality control: Measure, inspect, and test finished parts to ensure they meet exact specifications and are free of defects.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting: Maintain the equipment, perform calibration, and troubleshoot problems to ensure the machines run efficiently.
• Documentation: Responsible for completing logs, tracking data, and communicating with management, engineers, or clients.
