**Job Title: Carpenter Helper** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled laborer to assist with a renovation project at the Lincoln Health-Miles Campus in Damariscotta, ME. The project involves transforming the third floor of the hospital into a new oncology wing. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits! The pay rate will be $20 - $23 an hour and can start as soon as possible following the interview. We are looking for people out of trade school or people who have at least one year of recent carpentry experience. **Responsibilities** + Assist the site superintendent with various tasks. + Patch holes in drywall. + Perform light carpentry. + Conduct site clean-up when necessary. **Essential Skills** + 1 to 2 years of experience in construction in a similar role. + Ability to operate basic hand and power tools with limited supervision. + Attention to detail. + Knowledge of general labor, construction, carpentry, framing, caulking, and drywall. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with blueprint reading. + Capability in finish work, clean-up, site clean-up, and saw cutting. + Framing experience. + Sharp and approachable demeanor, suitable for a hospital setting. **Why Work Here?** We specialize in commercial and healthcare construction, offering a friendly and professional work environment.
