Accounting Manager – Kansas City Metro

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations for multiple entities within the Kansas City metro area. The ideal candidate will manage daily accounting functions, supervise accounting staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates must have prior experience handling accounting for multi-entity organizations. A CPA designation is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes for multiple entities
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit preparations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred, but not required
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Demonstrated experience managing accounting for multiple entities
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
